\nJust like it usually happens with an ongoing musical tradition, later ages all added their own meanings and esthetics to this musical treasure as well. My intention was to perform these without any unnecessary ornaments to ensure that they talk directly to today\u2019s people instead of getting more and more distant.
\nI paid special attention to the accompaniment of the songs. They were, with a few exceptions, orchestrated by my friend and fellow musician, Zsolt Szab\u00f3, according to my concepts, and also following the general European traditions of the age.
\nI made a bouquet of the songs of my songbook to show the diversity of the feelings of the heart from budding love to the wedding and beyond that, through hopes, confusion, through joyful moments to abandonment or fulfilment.
\nI hope you will listen to these literary and musical treasures with the same happiness as I fell in love collecting them together.<\/p>\n
